1.“Communitycollegegoverningboards:whattheyshouldandshouldnotdo?”isbasedongoverningboardstructureanalysisanddiscussestherelevanceoftheboardsversusthecommunitycollegemissionandfunctions.(1997)
“社区学院管理委员会（董事会）：应当做什么和不应当做什么？”阐述和分析社区学院管理委员会结构，讨论管委会作用和社区学院目的、功能相应关系。
2.“IntroductiontoInternationalHigherEducation--InstructionalDesign”isaHMTLtaskthatIdidontheworldhighereducationdevelopmentinthecontextoftheglobalgeopoliticalchangeandtheunionizationoftheworld.Itwaspublishedonthewebsite.(1998)
“国际高等教育介绍：教学设计。”本项目通过网页语言HTML设计完成，介绍国际地缘政治变化和世界联合组织下的世界高等教育发展。本项目完成后曾上网发表。
3.“TQM:Willitbeanotheracademicmanagementfad?”isaprojectcompletedbythreepeopleasareviewoftherecentadoptionandpracticeofTQM(TotalQualityManagement)intheadministrationofhighereducationinstitutions.Thefindingssuggestthatacademicinstitutionsarechangingtobemorebusiness-likeentitiesunderthepressureofcontingency,andthatbyadoptionoftotalqualitycontrolmechanismtheremaybeahopeforhighereducationinstitutionstobebettermanagedandsavedfromthefinancialcrisis.(1999)
“总体质量管理（TQM）：是否将成为下一个管理风潮？”该项目由三个人完成，回顾和分析了最近几年高等院校行政部门采纳和实施TQM的情况。项目最后建议，学术机构在经费危机的情况下正变得越来越像企业型单位，采用整体质量控制机制也许会给高等院校带来转变契机，从财务危机中解脱出来。
4.“CommunitycollegesbeyondtheUSandCanada:adevelopmentalreview”isaliteraturereviewonthedevelopmentof“communitycolleges”orjuniorcollegesincountriesotherthantheUSandCanada.Aworldwideexpansionofthenon-universitysectorofhighereducationisobservedanddefinitionsanduniquenessofthissectorarediscussedwithreferencesgiven.(1999)
“美国和加拿大以外的社区学院：发展评述。”该项目回顾和评论了美国和加拿大两国之外的其他国家“社区学院”或初级学院的发展情况。本项目注意到了全球性的四年以下的，专科性质学院的发展和扩张，详细讨论了此类学校的概念和特点，给出了相关资料来源。
5.“Modelsofprogramsofinternationalstudies:ananalyticalcomparison”examinestypesofinternationalstudiesprogramsatselectedpublicandresearchoneinstitutionsofhighereducation.Dataweredrawnfromtheinternetsources.Comparativeanalysiswasmadetorevealthenatureoftheprogramsamongthoseinstitutions.Itconcludesthattherehasbeenanexpansionofinternationalprogramsinhighereducationinstitutions.ManyinstitutionshavedevelopedgraduatecoursesininternationalstudiesattheMasterandPhDlevels.Interdisciplinaryandintegrativeprogramsmixedwithinternationalstudiesandotherprogramshasbecomeafashion.(1998)
“国际研究专业的模式：分析与比较。”该项目审议了某些公立研究型大学的国际研究专业的类别以及模式，资料来源于学校网页。通过对这些学校的专业比较分析，揭示专业设置的本质。项目结论，国际性专业在高等院校不断发展，多数学校开始开办研究生专业（硕士和博士），学科交叉专业和多学科联办专业，以及和其他国际相关专业混合，是当前一发展趋势。
6.“Chinesevocationaluniversities”wasaprojectuponwhichmydissertationisbased.ThisprojectreviewsthecomprehensivedevelopmentandexpansionofChinesehighereducationinthenon-universitysector.Thestudyofvocationaluniversitiesindicatedthatthereisacloseassociationoftheseinstitutionswithlocaleconomicstructureanddevelopment,thatvocationalismandlocalismareuniquefeaturesoftheseinstitutionsthatdifferfromothertraditionalinstitutions.AshortenedversionwaspublishedintheERICDigest.(2000)
“中国职业大学”项目是本人论文撰写前奏项目。本项目综合性地、全面地回顾了职业大学和四年制以下的专科教育的情况。研究表明，职业大学的发展和兴起和地方经济结构和发展与密切联系和关联，职业化和地方化是这些学校的特色要点，有别于其他传统大学。本研究结果要点在美国ERIC摘要上发表。
7.“Retrospectandprospect:Sino-USrelationsandacademicexchanges”examinedandreviewedtherelationshipbetweentheUSandChinaintheareaofacademicexchangeversuseconomicandpoliticalfactors.Analysisandreviewofdomesticsituationsofbothcountriesareconducted.Patternsofacademicexchangewerepresentedanddiscussed.Futuretrendsaregiveninlightofnecessityforbothcountries.(1999)
“回顾与展望：中美关系和学术交流”研究课题审视并分析了政治经济领域内的交往对学术交流的影响。本课题首先展示了两国不同国情，介绍并讨论了双方学术交流的形式。根据两国需要，提出了未来的趋向。

“公立研究型大学本科生保持率”研究科目调查研究学校财务状况和学生保持率之间的关系。该研究由亚利桑那大学高等教育研究中心主任盖瑞.罗兹教授主持。
2.“R&Adevelopmentandundergraduateattainment”investigatedtherelationshipbetweentheR&Aexpenditureandthestudentachievement.ResearchassistantforDr.GaryRhoades,professoranddirectorandDr.DudleyWoodard,professor,CenterfortheStudyofHigherEducation,UniversityofArizona.(1999).
“研究与发展和本科生进取的关系”研究科研开发经费的支出和学生进取的关系。本课题由亚利桑那大学高等教育研究中心主任盖瑞.罗兹教授和达德利.伍达德教授主持。

“全球环境下的社区学院”为一多个案例研究项目，专门研究在全球一体下社区学院办学目的和结构的变迁本课题由亚利桑那大学高等教育研究中心约翰莱.文教授主持。
