Introduction: cnXML is developed by the ecommerce lab of Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Ministry of Information Industry, and the e-commerce lab of Shanghai Jiaotong University, following the XML specification and fit the actual situation of China. It aims to build an e-commerce standard language that is consistent with the commercial tradition of China and providing a suit of flexible, organized, open and extensive e-commerce language. This benefits every commercial side including buyers, providers, and inter-agencies in developing standard e-commerce format.
My role: Design message format specifications and develop Secure Message Transport System (SMT) which provides cnXML-based key management and recognizes client applications by XML signature and encryption. It conforms to XKMS v2.0.

Introduction: This program aims to develop a compatible product following the Wireless PKI standard. The product includes certificate authorities, registration authorities, and a LDAP Server. The research was motivated by several objectives, which involve the size and format of certificate and encryption, signature, distributed signature algorithm and certificates status protocol.
My role: Manage the structure of this WPKI system to be compatible with both X.509v3 and Wireless Transport Layer Security (WTLS) and support some certificate extensions for flexible applications. Develop APIs for parsing certificates supporting Unicode for Chinese.

Introduction: The project aims to develop digital educating platform based on existing CERNET backbone network, Transmission network of the satellite and Ground microwave network, which could manage and share national digital educational resources and could satisfy different level educations.
My role: Develop Access Control part of Central Management System which could securely manage and operate all resources and research on security of wireless resources, and the Central Management Unit of Dissemination Control of Resources which can control and manage disseminated resources.

Abstract: In wireless environment we build Trust Center (TC) and authenticate the users’ identification by TC. After TC validates identification, it issues a anonymous “ Passport” to user. Then the user can purchase the services from vendors by the Passport. In the process of TC issuing Passports we use partially blind signature, then both TC and vendor can not track the user only by passports.

Abstract: A classification system for π-Calculus with security levels is proposed and the sub-classification rules and classification rules are constructed as system security policies and constraints of system behaviors. The logic and soundness of the system is proved as a Subject Reduction Theorem, which indicates that a well-classified process preserves its security properties as it evolves. The proposed theory enforces a fine-grained access control mechanism by static classification checking.

Abstract: To resolve the problems about inter-operation and system maintenance of PKI productions, the thesis researches and analyzes XKMS designed by W3C and implements a Secure Message Transport System (SMT) conformed to XKMS V2.0 for cnXML. It provides XML_based key management and realizes XML digital signing, encrypting and interoperation of several PKI providers’ software.
