和University of South Florida访问及博士后研究。
2006年4月评为大连理工大学 光学工程一级学科博士点 博士生导师。

使用弱光场研究可兴奋细胞膜电压依赖型离子通道的门控机理;结合神经细胞电生理功能的膜片钳记录，研究在光辐照下可兴奋细胞的功能变化，从而定量评估光场与生物组织的相互作用效果。
