I am current employed as Associate Professor in the school of chemical engineering, Dalian University of Technology (DUT), My primarily responsibility is to focus on setting up a process system engineering research in the department of chemical engineering in DUT.
October 2000 – September 2003, Research Fellow:
I am current employed as a research fellow at the School of Process System Engineering Department of University College London. My primarily responsibility is to focus on the process optimal design by data visualization and data mining with Dr. Eric S Fraga .
January 2000 - June 2000, Academic Visitor:
I visit the Chemical Engineering Department of Loughborough University, U.K..
I am engaged into the development of the intelligent interface of process simulation with Dr. Diane Rossiter and Prof. Paul Chung .

I am working the lab of process control of Dortmund University, Germany.

主要从事过程系统工程领域的研究和技术开发工作。在过程系统工程的数学模型、模拟和优化,设备设计和放大等方面具有较深的造诣。同时,致力于实际工业过程的优化和技术改造,其研究成果已广泛推广应用,取得了重大经济效益。
    将人工智能和系统科学的最新成果应用于过程系统工程研究,深入探索的一个交叉学科领域。其学术思想是模拟人类处理实际工程问题的思维模式和决策过程,利用专家知识、经验方程等非结构化知识,扩展系统建模理论、优化算法和控制策略,促进开发过程工业计算机集成管理和控制系统。
  目前已将这些工作汇集成具有完整系统的系列论文,发表于国际著名的学术期刊上,获得的成果在国际上的领先性已得到各国学术界同行专家的认可,在国际上被多次引用,得到了国际学术权威的高度评价。
   先后在华南理工大学、德国多特蒙德大学和英国伦敦学院大学讲授过程系统分析与综合等本科和研究生课程。
