主要从事“低温等离子体物理”和“带电粒子与物质相互作用”的理论研究和计算机模拟工作,目前负责和承担的课题:
1.国家自然科学基金,“双频容性耦合反应性等离子体中纳米尺度尘埃颗粒生长机制及输运过程的计算机模拟”,2008-01—2010-12,负责人。
2.973计划磁约束核聚变若干基础科学问题的研究(ITER相关基础研究),“等离子体与壁材料相互作用及中性束加热几个重要问题研究”之子课题:“中性束加热机理及模拟软件的开发”,2007-10—2011-12。
3.高等学校博士学科点专项基金,“强耦合尘埃等离子体中马赫波的理论研究”,2006-01—2008-12。
