1990年,1995年和2004年在分别在华东工学院,南京理工大学和香港城市大学获得工学学士,工学硕士和博士学位。1999年12月至2000年11月在香港城市大学从事合作研究,任研究助理。2002年3月至2002年9月在加拿大蒙特利尔大学工学院任访问学者。2005年7月至9月,2006年7月至9月在香港城市大学从事合作研究,任研究员。2007年8月至2008年11月为德国慕尼黑工业大学访问科学家,洪堡学者。现为南京理工大学电光学院教授, 南京理工大学中青年后备学科带头人。2008年获“第五届中国青年女科学家奖”。
主持国家自然科学基金,江苏省自然科学基金,人事部优秀留学归国人员科研基金及重点实验室基金及横向项目多项。先后获得南京理工大学青年教师教学进步二等奖和南京理工大学电光学院青年教师教学竞赛二等奖各一次,南京理工大学优秀论文特等奖两次,一等奖两次,2007年获南京理工大学新城市优秀学科带头人奖, 南京市自然科学优秀论文三等奖。目前在国际国内核心期刊和国际学术会议上上发表论文80多篇,其中国际核心期刊近60篇,SCI收录逾50篇。申请国家发明专利4项,实用新型专利6项,获批5项。
