张琚，女，1994年1月毕业于奥地利因斯布鲁克大学生物化学专业，获理学博士学位。现为南开大学特聘教授、博士生导师和教育部跨世纪优秀人才。生命科学学院生物化学与分子生物学系主任兼分子生物学研究所所长。
1978-1982南开大学生物化学专业学士、硕士。1989.5-1994.1在奥地利因斯布鲁克大学生物化学所读博，1994.1获奥地利理学博士学位。1994.1-1996.1在奥地利因斯布鲁克大学泌尿医院前列腺研究中心作博士后。 1996年回国，创建了雌激素作用分子机制实验室。1998.9-1998.12，2000.12-2001.3, 2004.8-2004.11间再次赴德国柏林泌尿医院、美国西北大学医学院和德国卡尔斯鲁厄研究中心进行合作研究。现从事医学分子生物学方面的科研工作。
研究方向主要为：“雌激素在前列腺间质增生、前列腺癌和动脉粥样硬化发生发展中的作用及其分子机制”。
