彭堃墀老师介绍
中国科学院院士,1936年8月生于江苏镇江, 原籍四川广元。1961年毕业于四川大学物理系。现任山西大学光电研究所所长,教授。
主要从事量子光学、固体激光技术等领域的基础与应用研究。
1982-1984年在美国德克萨斯大学,参加了世界最早光场压缩态产生实验研究前期工作,在肯博实验室研制成“高输出稳频YAG激光器”。
1988-1989年在美国加州理工学院完成用双KTP晶体经OPO参量下转换首次证实量子相干性和连续变量的EPR佯谬。
1985年任山西大学光电研究所所长,主持建立了量子光学实验室(现为国家重点实验室),开展对光场非经典特性的理论与实验研究,先后研制了内腔倍频稳频Nd:YAP/KTP激光泵浦源,设计了半整块光学参量放大器(OPA),在同一个实验装置上获得多种非经典光场,应用强度相关孪生光束实现了精确度突破标准量子极限的微弱信号检测与量子非破坏测量。利用纠缠态光场完成了连续变量量子密集编码、三组份纠缠态光场产生及通道容量受控量子通讯等量子信息领域的重要基础实验。设计了易于实现的连续变量量子纠缠交换与量子通讯网络实验系统,为量子信息处理提供了可行的实验方法。利用半导体激光器作为泵浦源完成了全固化单频稳频倍频Nd:YVO4/KTP、Nd:YAP/KTP激光器,获二项发明专利,并已形成产品。发表论文140余篇,获国家技术发明奖二等1项,何梁何利基金科学与技术进步奖,中国高校技术发明奖二等1项,国家教委科技进步奖三等1项,省科技进步奖一等3项,二等8项,获国家级教学成果奖二等1项。
现主持国家重点基础研究项目(973)1项。
中华全国总工会授予“全国优秀教育工作者”称号和“五一劳动奖章”,国家人事部授予“中青年有突出贡献专家”称号,山西省委省政府授予“科技功臣”、“优秀领导干部”等荣誉称号。
1991.7-2000.10任山西大学校长 。
现为国家自然科学基金委信息科学部专家咨询委员会委员,中国物理学会量子光学专业委员会副主任,山西省物理学会理事长,《量子光学学报》主编。
