向岚老师介绍
向岚，女，助教，中共预备党员，湖北五峰人。1997年毕业于中南民族学院外语系英国语言文学专业，获文学学士学位。现正在攻读华中科技大学语言学与应用语言学硕士学位。1997年7月至今在三峡大学从事非英语专业本科学生的大学英语教学工作。教学五年以来，承担了三届共十个正规本科班级的英语教学和大学英语四级备考工作，教学效果好，所带学生四级通级率均高于学校平均水平，积累了较丰富的教学和四级备考经验。2001年被大外部评为优秀教师。近几年共发表科研论文2篇（“浅析《大学英语》中常用修辞格的运用”和“浅谈英汉习语的转换”），参与完成科研项目2项（“四级考试与大学英语教学”和“大学英语素质教育”）。热爱和忠诚党的教育事业。现致力于英语教学法的研究，对跨文化交际也有浓厚兴趣。

Since graduated from college in 1992, I’ve been working as an English teacher for almost ten years, and find myself will never get bored by teaching. During my teaching career, I rolled up profuse experiences in teaching. I had observed the methods used by different instructors in their classes. American instructors, of course, qualified to teach English, but their lack of the knowledge of the Chinese language and the Chinese culture was a serious handicap in their communication with students. On the other hand, Chinese instructors tendered to use too much Chinese in class. I believe the combination of the two methods will be more conducive to Chinese students in learning a foreign a language. Therefore, I’m interested in the field of intercommunication of different cultures. I also put my fruit of study in my essays“交际法在大学英语中的应用” and“英语否定句的翻译”.
These studies have increased my interested in teaching greatly. I give my class in a precise and humorous way. Combined with teaching English cultures, my students r greatly motivated in the class. Besides that, I keep improving my teaching method to make my classes more effectively.Now I delicate the courses to get the master’s degree in the field of the linguistics. I realized that the teaching is an exciting job, a job that worth research and study for all once life.
