张强，1954年生，河北枣强人。金融监管与金融调控研究方向学术带头人，享受国务院特殊政府津贴专家，中国社会科学院经济学博士。现任湖南大学副校长、教授、博士生导师。兼任中国金融学会常务理事、湖南金融学会副会长、湖南大学社科联主席、湖南大学学术委员会委员。主持国家自科基金、国家社科基金、国家软科学重点项目等国家级、省部级项目20余项，主持国家精品课程《货币金融学》，出版《中央银行金融监管研究》等学术专著5部，主编、参编《货币金融学》、《中华金融辞库》等全国联编教材及大型工具书11部。在《经济研究》、《金融研究》、《经济学动态》等刊物发表论文80余篇，曾获人总行优秀教学成果二等奖、湖南省“五个一工程”图书类一等奖、湖南省社科优秀成果二等奖等省部级奖励16项。
