李飚 作为世界音乐舞台上为数不多的全职打击乐音乐会独奏家，以他对打击乐独奏的特别悟性和独特的演奏风格，被国际舆论公认为是当代最优秀的打击乐独奏家之一。
出生在中国南京，五岁开始学习音乐。童年时，便显示出对音乐的特别才能及兴趣，一九八二年进入北京中央音乐学院附中学习打击乐器。一九八八年毕业时，作为中国第一位公派打击乐学生，被中国文化部选送到苏联莫斯科柴科夫斯基国立音乐学院随斯留基业夫教授学习。毕业时，获俄罗斯国家一级音乐硕士文凭。一九九五年，获德国国家文化基金会奖学金来到德国，在慕尼黑国立音乐学院莎德罗教授指导下完成大师文凭。
在他的学生时期，他曾在许多音乐比赛上获奖，其中包括在一九九三年获第一届国际达布雷申打击乐比赛银奖，和一九九五年国际阿拉玛现代音乐节上获特等奖，他是第一位在国际音乐比赛中获奖的华人打击乐演奏家。
作为音乐会独奏家，李飚的演奏曲目范围及所演奏的打击乐器十分广泛，从不同时期的打击乐作品到打击乐协奏曲，曲目其中包括许多作曲家在他的演奏启发下，为他创作的打击乐作品，李飚演奏的打击乐器包罗万象，从马林巴琴到拉丁、亚洲、非洲等打击乐器。在音乐会上，他常常演奏多达五、六十件乐器的组合作品，展现给观众一全新的音乐空间:他在许多著名音乐节上有过独奏演出，如：施莱式维科——霍因式坦音乐节、爱维安音乐节、多瑙阿特姆音乐节、巴德夫理斯霍锋音乐节、日本富士山音乐节、加勒利音乐节、华沙音乐节、科隆音乐节、柏林爱乐大厅2002打击乐之夜，Music-Viva，比利时国际打击乐节，巴黎国际打击乐节，萨格勒布现代音乐节，等，二零零六年一月作为历史上第一位外国打击乐家被柏林爱乐乐团邀请同该团打击乐组合作在西蒙-拉特指挥下演奏打击乐重奏作品，作为独奏家,同许多乐团有过成功的合作和巡回演出，如：柏林爱乐乐团，巴伐利亚广播交响乐团，莫斯科交响乐团、丹麦国家广播交响乐团,保加利亚国家交响乐团，维尔兹堡交响乐团、纽伦堡交响乐团，布拉格交响乐团，德国国际爱乐乐团、波兰国家室内乐团、日本东京室内乐团、伦敦铜管乐团,中国交响乐团、中国爱乐乐团、北京交响乐团、上海交响乐团，香港中乐团等。演出的足迹踏遍七十个国家和地区。
在李飚的提议和主持下，二零零零年到二零零四年在北京举行了三届中国北京国际打击乐音乐节，成功的北京打击乐节已成为亚洲最有影响的打击乐专业的盛会。为加快打击乐在中国的发展，受中央音乐学院邀请，二零零三年成为该校打击乐教授，同时，李飚从二零零三年开始任教于柏林汉斯-埃斯勒国立音乐学院，二零零六年被该院聘为打击乐教授，成为第一位在世界顶级音乐学府中担任教授的华人打击乐家。
他多次在德国电视二台全欧洲最有影响的古典音乐专栏“重视古典音乐”中演奏打击乐协奏曲，并为欧洲许多电视台，广播电台录制打击乐独奏作品，百代（EMI），华钠泰尔德斯（Teldec），德意志维勒唱片公司录制了他的激光唱片，同时李飚在欧洲、美国、日本的许多音乐学院里进行讲学，大师班活动，并多次担任国际打击乐比赛的评委。
近几年，由于对世界音乐的浓厚兴趣，李飚于二零零五年建立了李飚打击乐团，乐团成员来自世界各地，并以主要演世界音乐，自创音乐为主题，在世界范围内演出。

Biography
In the recent international music scene, Li Biao is among few outstanding solo percussionists. His astonishing technique and profound understanding of the percussion instruments, as well as his extraordinary musicality, have earned him the reputation of one of the best solo percussionists today.
Born in Nanjing, China, He began his musical studies at the age of five and soon was discovered as one the most talented child in China. At the age of seven, Li already performed as soloist represent China in many countries. He attended the Conservatory of music in China in 1982. Upon graduation in 1988, Li was selected by the Chinese government as one the first percussionist to study in Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory with V.Sniegerew. and graduate with first honor of a master degree. Li continued his music education in Germany after winning the DAAD scholarship.1995-1998, He studied in Munich Conservatory of music with Peter Sadlo, and graduate with MeisterKlass Diploma.
During his study, Li won many prestige competitions that include: silver prize In Debrezen Percussion Competition 1993, and the First prize at Alimata Music Competition, which he was the first Chinese who won the international percussion competition.
As a soloist, Li has performed variety music pieces from different period. He has also inspired many accomplished composers to write solo percussion music to fit his unique style. All the pieces have been performed during his tour with a great success. Li masters more than 50 to 60 different kinds of percussion instruments that come from Africa, America, Europe and Asia.
Li gave many solo recitals during international music Festivals such as: the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, Sommer Konzert zwischen Donau und Altmuehl, Bad- Woerishofen Festival, Fuji Music Festival and Bela Bartok Festival,Bad-Kissigen Music Festival,Yamanami Festival, Berlin Percussion Festival,Obusi Music Festival, Music Viva. as Soloist ,He had also appeared with orchestra and chamber ensembles: Bavaria Radio Symphony Orchestra, Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, Nuernberg Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonie der nationen, Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra，China Philharmonic Orchestra, China National Symphony Orchestra, China Central Opera House, Ensemble of Tokyo, Polish Chamber Orchestra, Yamanami Festival Orchestra, the Shanghai Philharmonic, London Brass and many others. He was invited as Soloist on the 1999 & 2000 Davidorff Friendship Tour in Europe and Asia, 2003 Montblanc Friendship tour in Asia, also as soloist with Beijing Symphony Orchestra on the 2001 , 2003,2006 Europe Tour ,he also performed as Soloist with the China Grand Orchestra (400 musician) at the prestige Beijing New Year's Concert 2001 in Beijing People's Conference Hall.
Li Biao is founder and artists director of the Beijing Percussion Festival, and as professor in Beijing Central Conservatory ， since 2006, he start his teaching as professor in the one of the most prestige music institute in Europe “ Hochschule fuer Musik (hanns –eisner)in Berlin, Germany, he gave master class in Europe, USA, Asia ,during many Festivities.
