主要研究领域:光纤器件的的理论和实验研究,以及光纤器件在光纤传感和信息处理上的应用。主要研究的方向包括:光纤激光器、半导体激光器、光纤滤波器等。光纤激光器是指用掺稀土元素玻璃光纤作为增益介质的激光器。光纤激光器应用范围非常广泛,包括激光光纤通讯、激光空间远距通讯、工业造船、汽车制造、激光雕刻激光打标激光切割、印刷制辊、金属非金属钻孔/切割/焊接(铜焊、淬水、包层以及深度焊接)、军事国防安全、医疗器械仪器设备等。在半导体激光器研究上,致力于基于分布反馈光栅的光信息处理半导体激光器研究。随着科学技术的迅速发展,半导体激光器的研究正向纵深方向推进,以半导体激光器为核心的半导体光电子技术在21 世纪的信息社会中将取得更大的进展,发挥更大的作用。本研究方向承担国家级项目5项,其他项目1项。
