［研究方向］
本研究组主要探讨诱导癌症的机理与炎症机理之间的共性，并应用细胞学与分子生物学的研究成果治疗难治性炎症及开发抗癌药物。现有研究结果表明，多种抗炎天然药物单体化合物具有诱导癌细胞凋亡的作用，这可能与细胞膜上有诱导细胞凋亡作用的细胞因子受体有关。本研究组对位于线粒体内的原癌基因产物，由有诱导细胞凋亡作用的细胞因子激发的caspase 途径，蛋白激酶及MAPK，调节基因表达的核内因子的活性等与细胞信息转导过程进行的综合研究在中国国内处于先进地位。对许多与衰老相关的疾病研究发现其相关细胞凋亡过快或过多。本研究小组选择具有抗衰老药理作用的天然药物单体成分，从抑制细胞凋亡着手。应用现代化实验技术测定与细胞内信息相关的分子的产生量及其活性，并使用这些分子的专属抑制剂来确证这些天然药物单体的影响。
