1978年11月-1982年7月在西北师范大学物理系读书,并且获得物理专业学士学位。
1985年9月-1988年7月在北京市应用物理与计算数学研究所攻读硕士学位,并且获得流体力学专业硕士学位。
1995年3月-1997年12月在南京大学电子科学与信息工程系声学研究所攻读博士学位,并且获得声学专业博士学位。
1999-2000年在德国亚琛工业大学(Aachen Technology University)做流体力学数值计算的博士后工作。
2000年-2001年获得英国皇家学会资助在英国Strathclyde大学数学系做连续介质力学课题组的数学物理理论研究(博士后)。
主讲的本科生与研究生主要课程:
一元函数微积分、多元函数微积分、线性代数、数学物理方法、统计物理、等离子体物理、流体力学、孤立子理论。

主要学术成绩、创新点及其科学意义:
段文山于长期从事理论物理研究,为物理教育的发展,积极倡导西北师范大学物理系的理论物理研究,开展了关于非线性物理等理论物理研究,内容涉及到等离子体物理、尘埃等离子体物理、流体力学、纳米摩擦学、玻色-爱因斯坦凝聚等物理问题。同时,为了更好地开展科学研究,积极申报各类科研项目,已获得国家自然科学基金、教育部、人事部等国家级科研项目多项。获得甘肃省自然科学基金、甘肃省教育厅项目以及甘肃省“333”人才工程项目等多项。为了培养更多的人才,2005年段文山主持申请在西北师范大学举办由国家自然科学基金委资助的“理论物理专款西部地区学习班”,并获得了批准。2005年7月25日-8月22日在西北师范大学成功举办。西部地区理论物理讲习班的成功举办,为我国西部地区及西部与东部地区科研人员之间的交流,特别是青年学者之间的交流建立了一个广阔的平台。同时,讲习班所涉及的前沿课题为西部地区理论物理研究事业的发展指明了方向,对推动我国西部地区理论物理研究的发展奠定了坚实的基础。讲习班让许多关心西部地区科研和教育事业的专家学者更进一步了解了西部理论物理研究的现状,为今后更进一步支持帮助西部地区培养科研人才奠定了基础。
经过多年的努力,主要工作有:
(1)从数学上推广了约化摄动法,并用该方法研究了多种复杂物理体系。此方法可以解决物理学中的一些复杂问题。例如: 对于物理学中的Navier-Stokes流体力学方程组、麦克斯韦方程组、磁流体力学方程组等,在一般情况下求出解析解是不可能的,即使借助于计算机进行数值模拟有时候也是非常困难的。但是,使用摄动方法,可以使这些复杂的物理问题简单化。求出的近似解能解释我们发现的物理现象,给出明晰的物理图象,预言新的物理规律。代表性的成果:Phys. Plasmas,11 (12): 5710-5715 ( 2004),Phys. Plasmas,11 (8): 3762-3766 ( 2004)。
(2)考虑了尘埃颗粒的大小分布以后,首次建立了归一化的尘埃等离子体系统的运动方程组,首次得到了尘埃颗粒大小任意分布情况下对色散关系、群速度、孤立波形状及传播速度的影响。代表性的成果:Phys.Rev.E 68 . 067402 2003. Phys. Plasmas, 15, 083702 (2008), Phys. Plasmas,15 (4)043702(2008)。
(3)首次解决了传播方向有一定夹角,振幅分别为不同的双孤立子发生共振的条件,得到了双孤立子相互作用时产生的第三个波的解析表达式。此理论能成功解释在等离子体物理中发现的实验现象(Phys.Plasmas, 6 (1999) -3466)。代表性的成果:Phys. Lett. A,323 (1-2): 89-94 (2004), Eur. Phys. J. B,62(4)485-491(2008), Front. Phys. China, 41-52006。
(4) 建立了二维Frenkel-Kontorova模型,并将二维Frenkel-Kontorova模型推广应用到纳米摩擦学研究,首次得到了静摩擦力随金属材料各种参数的变化关系及各向异性性。代表性的成果:Appl. Phys. Lett. 93 (15) 153116 (2008) 。
(5) 用摄动方法系统研究了尘埃等离子体中孤立波的稳定性问题。主要内容有:研究了在多种物理条件下,当存在高阶小扰动时孤立波是否稳定等问题,分析了发生调制不稳定的条件以及尘埃等离子体中多种要素对调制不稳定性的影响。代表性的成果:Phys. Plasmas,8 (8): 3583-3586 ( 2001), Phys. Plasmas,10 (7): 3022-3025 JUL 2003, Phys. Plasmas,14(8)083702 (2007)。
(6)提出了血管中血液流动的准孤立子理论。将血流脉博用拟KdV方程描述,首次揭示了血管分支参数对血流脉博的影响,说明了血流脉冲波的波形随血管与血液参数的变化规律。物理学工作者S.Noubissie 和 P.Woafo用段文山的数学方法研究了其它问题( “We use mathematical procedure of Duan et.al …. ”)。 代表性的成果:Phys.. Rev. E,55 (2): 1773-1778 ( 1997).. J. Phys. Soc. Japan,, 65 (4): 945-947 (1996).. Phys. Lett. A, 295 (2-3): 133-138 18 (2002 )。
(7)研究了尘埃等离子体结晶现象,给出了尘埃晶格中线性波的色散关系及非线性波的特性同尘埃等离子体参数的关系。代表性的成果:Phys. Plasmas,11 (9): 4408-4413 ( 2004),Phys. Plasmas,12 (2): 022106 ( 2005)。

1978年11月-1982年7月在西北师范大学物理系读书,并且获得物理专业学士学位。
1985年9月-1988年7月在北京市应用物理与计算数学研究所攻读硕士学位,并且获得流体力学专业硕士学位。
1995年3月-1997年12月在南京大学电子科学与信息工程系声学研究所攻读博士学位,并且获得声学专业博士学位。
1999-2000年在德国亚琛工业大学(Aachen Technology University)做流体力学数值计算的博士后工作。
2000年-2001年获得英国皇家学会资助在英国Strathclyde大学数学系做连续介质力学课题组的数学物理理论研究(博士后)。
主讲的本科生与研究生主要课程:
一元函数微积分、多元函数微积分、线性代数、数学物理方法、统计物理、等离子体物理、流体力学、孤立子理论。

主要学术成绩、创新点及其科学意义:
段文山于长期从事理论物理研究,为物理教育的发展,积极倡导西北师范大学物理系的理论物理研究,开展了关于非线性物理等理论物理研究,内容涉及到等离子体物理、尘埃等离子体物理、流体力学、纳米摩擦学、玻色-爱因斯坦凝聚等物理问题。同时,为了更好地开展科学研究,积极申报各类科研项目,已获得国家自然科学基金、教育部、人事部等国家级科研项目多项。获得甘肃省自然科学基金、甘肃省教育厅项目以及甘肃省“333”人才工程项目等多项。为了培养更多的人才,2005年段文山主持申请在西北师范大学举办由国家自然科学基金委资助的“理论物理专款西部地区学习班”,并获得了批准。2005年7月25日-8月22日在西北师范大学成功举办。西部地区理论物理讲习班的成功举办,为我国西部地区及西部与东部地区科研人员之间的交流,特别是青年学者之间的交流建立了一个广阔的平台。同时,讲习班所涉及的前沿课题为西部地区理论物理研究事业的发展指明了方向,对推动我国西部地区理论物理研究的发展奠定了坚实的基础。讲习班让许多关心西部地区科研和教育事业的专家学者更进一步了解了西部理论物理研究的现状,为今后更进一步支持帮助西部地区培养科研人才奠定了基础。
经过多年的努力,主要工作有:
(1)从数学上推广了约化摄动法,并用该方法研究了多种复杂物理体系。此方法可以解决物理学中的一些复杂问题。例如: 对于物理学中的Navier-Stokes流体力学方程组、麦克斯韦方程组、磁流体力学方程组等,在一般情况下求出解析解是不可能的,即使借助于计算机进行数值模拟有时候也是非常困难的。但是,使用摄动方法,可以使这些复杂的物理问题简单化。求出的近似解能解释我们发现的物理现象,给出明晰的物理图象,预言新的物理规律。代表性的成果:Phys. Plasmas,11 (12): 5710-5715 ( 2004),Phys. Plasmas,11 (8): 3762-3766 ( 2004)。
(2)考虑了尘埃颗粒的大小分布以后,首次建立了归一化的尘埃等离子体系统的运动方程组,首次得到了尘埃颗粒大小任意分布情况下对色散关系、群速度、孤立波形状及传播速度的影响。代表性的成果:Phys.Rev.E 68 . 067402 2003. Phys. Plasmas, 15, 083702 (2008), Phys. Plasmas,15 (4)043702(2008)。
(3)首次解决了传播方向有一定夹角,振幅分别为不同的双孤立子发生共振的条件,得到了双孤立子相互作用时产生的第三个波的解析表达式。此理论能成功解释在等离子体物理中发现的实验现象(Phys.Plasmas, 6 (1999) -3466)。代表性的成果:Phys. Lett. A,323 (1-2): 89-94 (2004), Eur. Phys. J. B,62(4)485-491(2008), Front. Phys. China, 41-52006。
(4) 建立了二维Frenkel-Kontorova模型,并将二维Frenkel-Kontorova模型推广应用到纳米摩擦学研究,首次得到了静摩擦力随金属材料各种参数的变化关系及各向异性性。代表性的成果:Appl. Phys. Lett. 93 (15) 153116 (2008) 。
(5) 用摄动方法系统研究了尘埃等离子体中孤立波的稳定性问题。主要内容有:研究了在多种物理条件下,当存在高阶小扰动时孤立波是否稳定等问题,分析了发生调制不稳定的条件以及尘埃等离子体中多种要素对调制不稳定性的影响。代表性的成果:Phys. Plasmas,8 (8): 3583-3586 ( 2001), Phys. Plasmas,10 (7): 3022-3025 JUL 2003, Phys. Plasmas,14(8)083702 (2007)。
(6)提出了血管中血液流动的准孤立子理论。将血流脉博用拟KdV方程描述,首次揭示了血管分支参数对血流脉博的影响,说明了血流脉冲波的波形随血管与血液参数的变化规律。物理学工作者S.Noubissie 和 P.Woafo用段文山的数学方法研究了其它问题( “We use mathematical procedure of Duan et.al …. ”)。 代表性的成果:Phys.. Rev. E,55 (2): 1773-1778 ( 1997).. J. Phys. Soc. Japan,, 65 (4): 945-947 (1996).. Phys. Lett. A, 295 (2-3): 133-138 18 (2002 )。
(7)研究了尘埃等离子体结晶现象,给出了尘埃晶格中线性波的色散关系及非线性波的特性同尘埃等离子体参数的关系。代表性的成果:Phys. Plasmas,11 (9): 4408-4413 ( 2004),Phys. Plasmas,12 (2): 022106 ( 2005)。
