1983年原武汉水运工程学院机制工艺及设备专业本科毕业，1991年原武汉工业大学机械制造专业硕士研究生毕业，2004年武汉理工大学管理科学与工程专业博士研究生。1983－88年，武汉交通科技大学任教；1991－95年，湖北省租赁公司信息中心主任；1995－97年，湖北省租赁公司副总经理，兼任湖北东方运输公司（中外合资）总经理；1997－2001年，湖北东风汽车销售技术服务联合公司总经理；1998－2000年任湖北省计委、省物资厅、省物价局高级职称评审委员会委员。2001年至今，武汉理工大学物流工程学院任教。
近几年，为本科生和研究生主讲供应链管理、交通运输工程概论、项目管理、物流运输组织与管理、物流成本管理、物流企业战略管理等主要课程。
主要成果简述
在国内核心期刊以及国际学术会议上发表学术论文十余篇；主编《逆向物流》，参编《包装物流概论》、《物流大典》；主持和参与多项科研项目和省级教研项目。

Biography for Sun Hu
Sun Hu is now an associate professor in College of Logistics at Wuhan University of Technology (WHUT), China. He has a Ph.D. in management engineering and a M.Sc. in mechanical engineering from WHUT. During 1995~2001 he was successively vice general manager of Hubei Province Lease Company, general manager of Hubei Dongfang Transportation Co, Ltd. and Hubei Dongfeng Motor Marketing Combine Co, Ltd. He is a lecturer in Supply Chain Management, Conspectus of Transportation Engineering, Modern Project Management, Logistics Cost Management, Logistics Enterprise Strategy Management Planning and Simulating of Logistics System, etc. He has contributed to over 2 scientific and professional international conferences and is the author of some 10 scientific or professional articles, book chapters and papers. He is the leader for the three projects: “Simulation of Sorting Process for Distribution Center”, “Demonstrability of Integration and Management for Boatyard Resources along the Changjiang River” and “Planning of Baking Production and Distribution System”. His own research is currently focused on: supply chain integration and design, reverse logistics and loop-closed supply chain management, etc.
