Dec 1984 therapy in patients of Neuroses “ a dissertation submitted to the university of Pune in partial fulfillment for the award of M D degree.
The study showed that Yoga therapy which is an ancient Indian system of a disciplined life is comparatively better than Drugs in the treatment of Hysterical conversion disorders and Anxiety Neurosis but not effective in the treatment of Depressive disorders. My study compared favorably with that of Vahia et al
(1966) British journal of Psychiatry, 113, 1089 –96; Vahia et al (1973 b) American Journal of Psychotherapy, 27, 557 –65.
