潘 淳 成 长 于 一 个 钢 琴 世家， 四 岁 时 在 其 家 人 指 导 下 开 始 钢 琴 启 蒙 教育。 不久 即 在 北 京 的 各 个 音 乐 舞 台 上 崭 露 头 角， 受 到 了 当 时 文 艺 界 人 士 的 关 注。
八 岁 时 在 潘 一 鸣 老 师 的 指 导 下 考 入 北 京 中 央 音乐 学 院 附 小。 十 六 岁 毕业 于 中 央 音 乐 学 院 附 中。 其 间 先 后 师 从 陈 慧 苏 女 士， 朱 工 一 教 授， 杨 峻 教 授，并受 到 来 华 访 问 的 各 国 钢 琴 及 音 乐 家( 如P.Skoda，Lateina，H.Kain，I.Stern，傅 聪 等)的指 导。 十 三 岁 时 参 加 了 中 国“ 珠 江”杯 钢 琴 邀 请 赛， 并 获 奖。
十 九 岁 由 国 家 教 委 公 派 前 往 前 苏 联 莫 斯 科 柴 可夫 斯 基 国 立 音 乐 学 院习，先 后 师 从 S.Dorensky 和 O.Ivanov。 六 年 后 获 得 该 院 硕 士 文 凭，随 后 进 入钢 琴 研 究 生班， 二 年 后 获 得 博 士 演 奏 文 凭。 学 习 期 间 曾于莫 斯 科， 雅 库 斯 克 等 城 市 举行 音 乐 会， 并 成功 地 同 雅 库 斯 克 交 响 乐 团 合 作 了 李 斯 特 第 二 钢 琴 协 奏 曲。
一 九 九 六 年 学 成 归 国， 在 青 海 西 宁， 上 海， 北 京举 行 巡 徊 音 乐 会 获 得 好评。 同 时 开 始 进 入 中 央 音 乐 学 院 钢 琴 系 主 科 教 研 室 执 教。 一九九九年 获 得 副 教授 职 称， 现 任 钢 琴 系 副 系 主 任。
潘 淳 经 常 在 北 京 音 乐 厅 ， 世 纪 剧 院 ， 中 山 音乐 堂 及 全 国 各 地 ， 香港 ，新 加 坡 和 俄 罗 斯 等 地 演 奏 。 他 同 中 国 国 家 交 响 乐 团 ，北京 交 响 乐 团 ，中 国 青 年 交 响 乐 团 等 合 作 演出 。他 首 演 了 年 青 作 曲 家 唐 建 平 的 钢 琴 协 奏 曲 ，并 在 北京 国 际 音 乐 节 闭 幕 式 上 演 奏 了 贝 多 芬 的 三 重 协奏 曲 。他 经 常 受 邀 到 广 州 去 开 大 师 班 。
Pan Chun was born into a musical family and started playing the piano at the age of four.From 1978-1986,he studied at the High School of the Central Conservatory.His teachers there were Pan Yi Ming,Chen Hui Su, Zhu Gong Yi and Yang Jun.
In 1987.Pan Chun was awarded a state scholarship to study at the Moscow State Conservatory with Professor Sergei Dorensky and Oleg Ivanov.In 1993,he graduated with a Master of Fine Arts Degree.In 1996 Pan Chun completed the doctoral course of the Moscow Conservatory.Since 1996,he has been teaching in the piano faculty of the Central Conservatory in Beijing.He is now an associate professor and vice chairman of the faculty.
Pan Chun ‘s stage performances began when he was six,with regular appearances in the theatres and halls of Beijing.He has toured China with the Red Scarf Symphony and recorded with them Mozart ‘s 23rd Piano Concerto.His performance of Mozart ‘s Variation in C major was included in Issac Stern ‘s award winning film ‘From Mao to Mozart’.He was a prizewinner at the National Zhu Jiang Competition.
Pan Chun has played with the China National Orchestra,Beijing Symphony Orchestra,the Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Yakursk Symphony Orchestra,Russia.In 1999,he played an all Chopin recital commemorating the 150th anniversary of Chopin ‘s death in Singapore.He also played the world premiere performance of Chinese composer Tang Jian Ping ‘s Piano Concerto and was invited to play Beethoven ‘s Triple Concerto at the closing ceremony of the Beijing International Music Festival.
Pan Chun has played in Europe, Singapore, Hong Kong and all the major cities of China, and is regularly invited to conduct masterclasses in Guangzhou.
