卞萌,中央音乐学院钢琴系教授,研究生导师。
自幼随父习琴,1978~1984年就读于上海音乐学院附中,1984年考入上海音乐学院钢琴系,1988年大学本科毕业获学士学位,并被学院推荐免试攻读钢琴专业硕士学位,先后师从刘爱贤、尤大淳、林恩蓓、李名强等教授,曾在国内、国际钢琴比赛中获奖。1990年公派赴俄罗斯圣·彼得堡音乐学院学习,师从“人民艺术家”叶卡捷里娜·穆里娜(Е.Мурина)教授和钢琴艺术理论家索菲亚·亨托娃(С.Хентова)教授;她于 1994年5月被圣·彼得堡音乐学院授予音乐艺术(钢琴)博士学位,11月又被俄罗斯最高学位授证委员会授予哲学(艺术学)博士学位。1996年1月回国后,在中央音乐学院钢琴系担任钢琴主科教学工作,同年9月被评为副教授。2004年被评为教授。
她在国内外学术期刊上发表论文、译文多篇,著有《中国钢琴文化之形成与发展》、《钢琴全面训练基础教程》,并出版了个人钢琴独奏CD《中国钢琴音乐精选》、VCD《钢琴名家教名曲——卞萌专辑》等作品。她经常举办钢琴音乐会,演奏曲目包括从巴罗克到近现代不同风格的作品。2003年完成了教育部优秀青年教师资助计划科研项目“钢琴协奏曲数字化教学系统研究”。

Personal Statement of Ms Bian Meng
Ms Bian Meng was born into an intellectual family of musical background. Her father is a professor of music and piano performance and her mother is a teacher of mathematics. At the age of five, Ms Bian started to learn to play the piano under the guidance of her father and went to stage for public performance at the age of six.
For about 12 years between 1978 and 1989, Ms Bian spent her time first at the middle school affiliated to the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, taking her middle school courses, and then taking the undergraduate courses and the piano course for Master Degree in the Conservator. Ms Bian in her study process followed many famous piano teachers, among whom were Professor Liu Aixian, Professor You Dachun, Professor Lin Enpei and Professor Li Mingqiang. During her study in the Conservatory, she was awarded the Shen Xingong Scholarship every year for her excellent academic performance and achievements. She was the winner in the National Piano Selection Competition in 1985. In 1986, as a member of the Chinese Friendship Delegation, she visited Japan and gave performance on the tour. Bian Meng won prizes in the domestic and international piano competitions held in Shenyang and Shanghai in 1987.
In 1990, Ms Bian was selected by the State to continue her advanced study in the Graduate Department of the St. Petersburg State Conservatory of Music in Russia and she became D.M.A. candidate for the piano performance under the guidance of Professor E. Murina, Actress of People of Russia and PhD candidate for the artisticology under the guidance of Professor S. Khentova, Doctor of Artisticology. In 1994, she was conferred Doctorate of Artisticology (Ph.D.) and Doctorate of Music Performance (D.M.A.) respectively by the Russian Highest Academic Degree Awarding Committee, and became the first Chinese who studied music abroad to win double Doctorates. She kept on her performing activities with her footprint spreading all over the Commonwealth of Independent States, Norway and many Eastern European countries while abroad.
Ms Bian Meng has a wide range of repertoire and a solid foundation in basic skills. Her touch is rich and varied and her tone color, bright and pure. From the high basic point of arts, she is good at striking a proper balance in her performance between reason and perception, warmth and calmness, contrast and unity, part and entirety, making a good effect of propriety, balance and entirety on the audience.
In 1996, Ms Bian returned to China upon the completion of her study in Russia and was invited to join the faculty of the Central Conservatory of Music, the most famous educational institution of music in China. She is now a Professor of the Major Course Teaching and Research Section, teaching in the Piano Department of the Central Conservatory of Music as well as a graduate student tutor in the piano performance and chamber music. Her academic reputation in the piano field has been well-established with the publication of her distinguished academic works entitled “The Formation and Development of the Piano Culture in China” (published in 1996 by Beijing Huayue Press). She has published many of her personal albums including CD Specials of the Chinese Piano Musical Pieces (1997, Henan Audio-visual Press) and the VCD Specials of Famous Piano Pieces for Family Piano Teaching (1999, Beijing People's Music Press).She finished academic research“The Study on system training of Piano Concerto Performance”,which supported by the Excellent Young Teacher Program of MOE(2001-2003).
