张力，男，汉族，博士，云南省高校特聘教授，博士生导师。长期从事理论天体物理、粒子天体物理研究。现任云南大学物理科学技术学院院长。
主要学历：
1978年 9 月--1982年 7 月,云南大学物理系,获学士学位。
1984年 9 月--1987年 6 月,云南大学,高能物理专业, 获硕士学位。
1995年 6 月--1998年 7 月,香港大学物理系,获博士学位。
主要工作经历：
1987年硕士研究生毕业后，一直在云南大学物理系工作，历任讲师、副教授、教授。期间，1993年4月--1994年4月,赴英国Durham大学物理系从事学术访问。1998年7月--2002年2月,在香港大学物理系从事博士后研究工作。
近期主持的主要科研项目：
1、国家杰出青年基金"理论天体物理"（项目编号10425314），
2、国家自然科学基金项目"脉冲星高能辐射的研究"（项目编号10073008），
3、教育部科学技术重点项目，
4、教育部博士点专项基金。
获奖情况：
1、2002年教育部"跨世纪优秀人才",
2、2002年云南大学"伍达观优秀教师奖"杰出贡献奖，
3、2001年度"云南省自然科学奖"壹等奖(排名第二),

主要科研成果：
主要研究致密天体（活动星系核和脉冲星）的高能辐射以及弥散伽马射线和宇宙射线起源。已在国际著名刊物The Astrophysical Journal(美国《天体物理学报》)、Mon.Not.R.Astron.Soc.(英国《皇家天文学会月刊》)和Astronomy & Astrophysics(欧洲《天文学和天体物理学》)等杂志上发表科研论文120余篇。所开展的工作有一定的创新并在国内外已有相当显示度,被他人论文引用500多篇次。
近期主要开展的工作如下：
1、伽马射线脉冲星的研究；
2、活动星系核高能辐射及其基本特性的研究；
3、宇宙射线起源的研究。
