山东肥城人。1999年7月毕业于山东大学化学系，获化学学士学位；2002 年3 月毕业于北京科技大学化学系，获分析化学硕士学位；2005 年4 月毕业于中国科学院生态环境研究中心，获环境化学博士学位（师承孔繁祚研究员），博士研究期间主要从事具有生物活性的寡糖的合成。 2005 年3 月进入清华大学化学系从事博士后研究工作，从事糖肽的合成及免疫学性质研究，2007年5月出站。2007年6月加入南开大学药学院。主持或参加过多项国家自然科学基金重点及面上课题和科技部973课题的研究，研究领域为糖化学、糖药物学和基于受体靶蛋白晶体结构的酶抑制剂的设计、合成与评价。
