韩茂安，男，生于1961年12月，1982年2月毕业于山东科技大学数学系，分别于1984年11月和 1987年6月在南京大学获得硕士和博士学位。1987年7月至1996年10月间在山东科技大学工作，1996年11月至2005年5月间在上海交通大学工作，2005年6月至今在上海师大工作，现任上海师范大学数学科学研究所所长、上海师范大学数理信息学院副院长，主要从事《常微分方程》和《数学分析》的教学工作。
科研上，20年来一直从事常微分方程与动力系统的研究。作为负责人主持完成了5项国家自然科学基金项目，5项省部级基金项目，并入选2004年度教育部新世纪优秀人才培养计划和2006年度上海市学优秀科带头人支持计划；有7项研究成果获得省部级科技进步奖，其中作为第一完成人的研究成果“非线性动力系统的全局理论及其应用”获得2002年度教育部科技进步奖一等奖；作为第一完成人的研究成果“非线性系统动力学研究”获得2006年度上海市自然科学奖二等奖。1992年获得国务院政府特殊津贴， 1994年被授予国家中青年有突出贡献专家称号，1996年被评为山东省优秀知识分子标兵。目前已出版著作五部，与国内外合作者一起在国内外重要学术杂志发表论文200多篇。
