1955年7月东北药学院毕业，留校任教。1981年6月-1983年6月去日本东京大学留学，获药学博士学位。1995年当选为中国工程院院士。
工作经历
长期从事中药天然药物化学教学研究工作。
主要著作
先后主编出版《天然药物化学》、《有机化合物波谱解析》（高等医药院校用统编教材）及《超导核磁共振波谱解析》（研究生用参考书）。
