In addition to the activities mentioned above, Dr Bhatia has very frequently and regularly been responsible for organising, conducting sessions, (including chairing sessions) and being part of conferences, seminars and workshops in the field of Otology, Neuro-otology, Otolaryngology, to keep abreast of the developments in the field at International, State and National levels. He has also authored and co-authored papers in national and international journals on his subject of specialisation.

Organised two National Conferences :
5th Conference of FHNO (Foundation for Head and Neck Oncology) at Lucknow attended by 400 members from all over India and international guest faculty and speakers
58th AOI Conference in January 2005 at Lucknow attended by 2000members from all over India and 40 guest faculty from all over the world
Jointly organised North Zone Annual AOI Conference in 2000, attended by 1500 delegates from North Zone states and International faculty
Organised First live surgery workshop on Head and Neck cancer, attended by about 50 participants from the region.The faculty of surgeons consisted of experts from AIIMS (New Delhi) Tata Memorial Hospital (Mumbai), Head and Neck Cancer institute Guwahati, Bangalore and Cochin.
