Liang Wei, associate professor of General English Department, Foreign Languages School, Nankai University; born in Tianjin in 1961 and graduated from Beijing Institute of International Politics in 1983 majoring in English Language; dispatched to work as interpreter in Britain for a year in 1985; second prize winner of the Tianjin City-wide English Teaching Competition in 1992; first prize winner of the Delide Teaching Research Award in 1993; Spoken English Examiner appointed by National CET-4/6 Examination Commission, now teaches Intensive Reading and Listening Comprehension Courses for freshmen and sophomores, Intercultural Communication Studies course for juniors. Research Orientation: English Language Testing and Intercultural Communication Studies.
