崔永禄
男、汉族、1942年出生、教授、博士生导师。1993年获英国爱丁堡大学硕士学位，现任翻译研究中心副主任。
研究方向：英美文学翻译
崔永禄教授，曾任副院长并赴联合国工作,任翻译和审校。现在主要研究方向为翻译理论和实践及语言学。
编写著作包括《实用大学口译（英汉）教程新编》和《英语口语大全》；
译著主要包括
《藏族服饰艺术》、《日本心魂》、《美国政治传统》、《荒野的呼唤》、《温柔的迷茫》、《流动的旋律》等。
论文发表主要包括：

2.“从一个片断看《尤利西斯》的两个译本”
3.“发扬传统 兼收并蓄－纪念严复《天演论·译例言》发表一百周年”

Professor Cui, Yonglu, doctoral supervisor. He graduated from the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature, Nankai University, in 1965 and remained at the university to lecture till the present day. During this period, he once went to work as a translator and reviser of the United Nations and he also went to Edinburgh University , UK, to work on applied linguistics and was granted Mater’s degree of Science. He now mainly works on theory and practice of translation and linguistics. He edited English-Chinese Interpretation Textbook for College Students and An Oral English Dictionary. His translated works include: Japanese Mind, American Political Tradition, Flowing Rhythm, Tender Is the Haze, The Call of the Wild,. Tibetan Arts and Costumes, etc. He has also published a number of essays, including: “Retainment and acceptance of images in Chinese-English translation” (1997), “A comparative study of the translated versions of Ulysses” (1997)，“Carry the tradition forward and incorporate new ideas ”(1998)，“Greater efforts required to study translation theory from a linguistic perspective”(1999), “Bewilderment in translation and translator’s intention”(1999), “Cultural adaptation in translation” (2000), “On the mediation process of translation and the factors affecting it”(2001), “Form is not to be forgotten in translation”(2002), etc.
